Here is a picture of me receiving a piece of juicy information on my cell phone. It's actually a reinactment because CTP was still sleeping during the actual phone call so he missed the call in real time. Anyway, good news - Mr. D (unofficially) passed his testing and is soon to be a 4th degree black belt. Gigi called at 8:30 this morning to share the news. She said she tried to call all of us at some point last evening, but none of us had our phones on or with us so we missed all of her calls. She even tried the Bartholomew's home phone but we must not have heard it ring. Who would be calling any of us, because we were all there... I think the Chief shared the news with them last night at dinner which is why it's still unofficial. But Gigi asked if she could tell us and was told yes. So I told her I would share the exciting news with everyone and it just worked out that I could work it into the word of the day!

Yippee!!!! My phone said that I had a missed call last night from ATA Blackbelt Academy, but I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what was going on with that!!! Thanks for letting us know:) Not that we had any doubt!

I knew it all along. He's the man! All the more reason to fork his yard,baby! I'm off wed,thurs,fri this week.
After seeing the rest of the candidates at his testing, my thought was, "if he doesn't pass, no one will." (Are you supposed to put quotes around your thoughts?) He did great while some of those people were an embarassment to ATA.
yeah ,i couldn't believe some of those people. Some of the sparring was weak. Some looked like this was the first time they ever tried to break boards. It makes you wonder, "what kind of school do they come from?" I know Mr. D. took this testing very seriously. He worked extremely hard to make sure he was at his best. I'm sure they'll celebrate in Mexico this week. I hope Chief Master is able to give him his belt at our next testing. That would be cool for everyone to see and be a part of.
