For those of you that had something better to do tonight than come to low rank testing, you missed quite an entertaining evening (especially if you're a knocker). 40+ SC was the floor conductor and I wish I had a quarter for every time she said, "All right." (It's not possible to relate the voice inflection of these two words in print. I'll demonstrate for anyone who's interested tomorrow.) I even had Alex giggling because it was really, really, really noticable.

Also, when Mr. D and Robbie were calculating scores Cha Cha boy had the kids warm down by turning them toward the audience, using his scary, demo team voice, and having them do ATA punches toward the audience. Luckily SB and ES were in the back of the room so I could escape to the back so I wasn't being totally rude by laughing directly at him. (Can't you just imagine that flower in his hand as a jahng bong instead!)
Why do people feel the need to insert themselves into situations that are not particularly suited to them? How many of us complain and whine and cry when we are not asked to do something for testing? I find it so pathetic that we have several of those types of people at our academy. How desperate for attention must you be to demand to be involved in a key role at testing? Seriously, if Mr. & Mrs. D want you to do something, they'll ask. Can you tell that this truly annoys me? Perhaps because it happens with demo team also. Isn't being asked to do something more flattering than demanding to be a part of something? I would think so.
Okay, done venting for now. But don't get me started on the kids that passed testing that didn't know their form...

I love the nicknames. That demo team voice is insane. I understand and appreciate enthusiasm, but that screaming is kinda embarrassing and frightening for everyone involved. Those people,in my opinion, won't last very long in this academy or this organization. When Ducky joins leadership, I'm leaving and opening my own school. We do definitely have some great adults and kids in leadership that helped with the tigers last night. For the first time in almost two years I wasn't involved in any way with tiger testing. It was awesome! I got to watch Alex test for the first time. It was a nice evening.
I know! I said to Alex, I couldn't remember the last time I just sat and watched testing. It is certainly a different perspective from the audience. Good luck to everyone tonight!
Cha Cha Boy!!??!!?! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
First of all, as soon as I read the title of your post, I could hear YOU saying it in my head, "Seriously..." As I read on, I could hear the, "All Right!!", as clear as if she'd been standing next to me. All of that was followed by the over-exuberant/insane/maniacal screaming of Cha Cha Boy and I got scared and had to stop reading :)
Oh, and don't try to brush it off, SC, I know that you're in a deep funk today, probably drinking copious amounts of green apple Smirnoff, because you weren't asked to help last night. I'm sure you'll refuse to come to class for awhile and won't volunteer to teach a class next time Mr. D. is on vacation :)
You are so right! I don't know if I'll be able to stand straight tonight. I'm hoping I'll have to spar burger meister or "Matt" fungus cause I could definitely do that inebriated.
Yeah, Kim,we should boycott the next few weeks of classes. If we're not good enough to help at EVERY testing then we're not good enough to teach either! We, as instructors need to send a message! Seriously,I feel so good about this testing for Zack and all the bloggers tonight. I actually don't feel like tearing someone's head off or vomiting today. Maybe I'll even wait to get drunk until after testing this time. HAHAHAHAH! Good luck everyone!
Everyone had a great testing tonight! Everyone was relaxed, having fun and enjoying the moment.
The names are crackin' me up! And the voice!!!!!!! All the voices!!!!! Like TAmi, I heard each and every one in my head. :) :) :)
